Trying to update

I have changed my email at the App Store and have many updates to do. When I try to log in, I can't. The info that is on the page has my old email address that I can't access anymore. How can I get my iPad to really recognize the email address that is on my account now?

This is only works if you changed the email address that you use for your Apple ID. If you created a new Apple ID, that doesn’t work. Your purchase are forever tied to the Apple ID that you used to make the purchases. Changing your Apple ID email address is OK, creating a brand new Apple ID is not what you want to do.
