If the speakers appear on your iPod's Bluetooth list, but say "not connected", then you probably need to "prime the speaker" to accept a new connection. Typically, there is a button on the speaker which, when held "on", will put the speaker into "be seen" mode, which allows your iPod to connect with it when you tap that speaker.

  1. Make sure the speaker is in range of your iPod
  2. Put the speaker into "be seen" mode (check the instructions for the speaker)
  3. In the iPod's Bluetooth Settings menu, tap on the speaker name in the list
  4. The iPod should then state "connected"

Some times, the speaker may require that you enter a code (on the iPod) before connecting. Consult the speaker's instructions if that happens, in order to find the code. It's usually 0000 or 1234
