After installing iOS 11.1.1 on brand new school iPad Airs, download icons in the app store are no longer active. I can no longer install new apps. This is not true for older models of the iPad, like iPad 2.
Hi. Is there anything in the "school" confoguration of the devices that may prevent app purchase or installation?
Are the devices logged in with an Apple ID that has a valid payment method? Or are they linked to your VPP?
However, the iOS 11 app store works fine on devices outside your control, so it must have something to do with your configuration. The app store app has been totally revised, and may need some change to the configuration. Are these actually brand new iPad Airs? That's a relatively old model that is no longer sold. If they're not new, have they been thoroughly reset?
Since the older iPads are working just fine, I would say it has nothing to do with iur school configuration. All of the iPads are ligged in with individual Apple IDs.
