After following all of the reset setting steps for an encrypted backup, I'm still unable to create a backup without a password - which I need to transfer to my new iPhone.
I forgot my encrypted iTunes backup password for my iPhone6S and now can't set up my iPhoneX with my previous information. I've followed the reset settings tips at About encrypted backups in iTunes - Apple Support, but still am unable to create a backup with no password in iTunes. This is very frustrating as I've not been able to use my new iPhone. 😟
