Can you attach a Note (from the Notes app) to a contact card?

I want to attach a Note (from the Notes app- including pictures, scans of receipts, etc) to a contact card. I remember hearing you could now do this, but I cannot find any information on how to do it. Nor am I able to see any reference to doing it in the "how to" area of notes. I know there is a "notes" area on the contact card, but my objective here is to attach pictures and checklists with color, not just text without any formatting.

(Also, there is no community to post a question about "Notes" or "Contacts". Does anyone even work on these products??!!)
