Question: Odd line breaks in Page for Mac

I get this issue from time to time when I paste text into Pages [in this case from Evernote into a document which is essentially rich text with no text boxes.

On the left is my source, on the right as pasted with what appears to be a hard CR at the end of the first two lines, but they cannot be deleted without either deleting the character ahead, or moving the wrap one word on. The problem seems to be that in the pasting word spaces change to non-breaking spaces for that para and the problem can be solved by replacing them with normal spaces.

I thus have a solution to the problem, but would rather stop it happening!

There apparently is something in the Copy and Pasted text.

To shake it off first Copy and Paste into a plain text TextEdit document which will make it plain txt and then copy and paste from that into Pages.

Evernote appears to be adding either stray break characters or hidden XML.

Thank you both. I think replacing spaces is going to be my best solution as I don't want to lose other formatting by converting to plain text.

The odd thing is that Evernote only seems to be converting variable to non-breaking spaces on the copy and paste as if I do a search on a string in Evernote using normal spaces it finds the string, but if I do the same search after a paste it does not.

Evernote's rich text formatting is weird in other ways which is why I am moving everything to Pages anyway.
