Hello. I got this issue with icloud that is hard to belive: but its true!!!
I had less than a giga of storage used in icloud. Its been like that for years. But somehow when i upgraded ios to 10.3.3 the last one, the storage bloated to a full 4.98 giga. Id like to know if this is possible. And what to do. Im desperate theres nothing i can do now, Apple wont help me with a bloated storage. Any idea????
Other people have posted similar problems and after contacting iCloud support, found it was a server problem. iCloud support reset everything. You may have to politely ask for a level 2 person.

That it dont explain where it came the bloated "backup" yellow bar takin over my icloud storage
I forgot to mention after upgrade an artist was erased from my music library. It was no longer in the phone
Is there a way to manage the yellow bar of the storage, the one that bloated after updating ios?
If it is backups that are bloated, follow the instructions in the article.

I dont have backups. Just the photo library. The rest it all shows very little to none backup. I erased the pics, but the yellow bar is still there and i cant erase it.
Have you tried signing out of iCloud and back in?

Thankfully that did the trick. Now i have the omount of storage i had prior to upgrading ios. Thank u!!!!!
The problem here is every time i log off icloud the storage normalizes, but after that it comes up again with bloated backups. I dont know what to do
