Will my mac run adobe CS6 on high sierra?

Hello,

My computer is becoming more insistent that I upgrade just as this newer iMac has finally settled down to operability (though it is still less enjoyable to work with than my older computers). I'm sure there have been OS improvements that benefit the mac owner but they are completely invisible to me. All I can see is less attention to the easy workflow I developed over decades as a Mac using person.

Will my computer become useless and quit running Adobe basic products if I up grade to High Sierra?

I am gradually beginning to depend on this newer computer and will remove it from the internet if I have to do that to keep everything working.

Mac gives no indication that an upgrade will not eliminate a random person's usability of their computer.

You can and probably should shut off the upgrade nagging in your App Store preference panel in System Prefs. Leave the box for security updates checked.

I’ve read reports of Illustrator CS6 not running at all. My guess is that ID and Photoshop won’t work either. Some searching here may turn up some earlier threads about High Sierra and CS6.

Really, there is nothing in the OS “upgrade” that is worth the aggravation of losing the use of software you depend upon. If everything is working with your current OS, why mess with it? What OS are you using now?
