How do I associate phone number with new Apple ID?

How do I associate phone number with new Apple ID? I’ve bought a new personal phone and transferred the number from my old work phone. I want to associate the number with my own id but the number is already associated with the work Id.

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.0.3

Go to the following link -- Apple ID - Official Apple Support, and from there you can edit information associated with your Apple ID, including phone number, by following the link within the Change other account information section.
