I download an app called NG Player and my search engine switched from Google to Yahoo. How do I get it back to Google?

iMac: 21.5-inch, Mid 2010

Processor 3.06GHz Intel Core i3

Memory: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Operating System: High Sierra Version 10.13.1

I'm using Firefox as my home page and up until recently, Google Search as my Search engine. I was looking for an app that would allow me to stream a TV program and ended up downloading one called "NG Player". Following the download my search engine switched fro Google to Yahoo. I also ran Malwarebytes and discovered several unwanted programs which I was able to eliminate thanks to Malware bytes. How do I get Google back as my search engine?

Hello 010929,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that after some changes in your system, your default search engine has been changed from Google to Yahoo and you wish to change it back. Since you are using Firefox, from the menu bar select Firefox > Preferences, select Search. From there you can select your default search engine.

Best regards.
