Eye-Fi X2 Utility Delete

Eye-Fi X2 Utility is useless as the company is out of business. The utility will not quit, does not show in any menu, not in the force quit screen.

How do I quit this pesky beast and discard it from my iMac?

Launch Activity Monitor and search the CPU section for the app. Once you find it you can quit or force quit it from Activity Monitor.

Then download and runFind Any File to search for any files with the application's name in the file name. For example:

1 - Name contains eye-fi

Any files that are found can be dragged from the search results window to the Desktop for deletion.

FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
