mail viewer window

I don't know why, but in the mail viewer window, I have lost the right-hand side which shows the message content.

I still have the mailbox column on the left, and the abbreviated list of messages which used to be in the middle, but now I do not have the full message content of the message selected unless I double-click on the abbreviated message which will then open the message in a new window.

Been puzzling over this (and trying things) for days. Really miss seeing the entire message!

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Position your cursor on the rightmost edge of the Mail viewer window. When positioning your cursor over it, the normal selection cursor will change and bear a resemblance to this

Drag that.

Drag that cursor to the left. Drag it farther than you have been doing, much farther. There will be no visual confirmation of that action until you drag it more than halfway to the opposite edge of the window, or full screen if you are not using windowed mode.
