new emojis not showing up right after updating to iOS11.1.2

After updating my iphone to iOS11.1.2, the new emojis are not showing up correctly. Usually when you type just one emoji in whatsapp, the emoji will show up bigger than normal, but not with the new emojis now, they just appeared normal size. Is this a bug in the iOS? or any solutions please. Thanks!
