Hello pencoke,

Thanks for continuing our troubleshooting here in the Apple Support Communities. Is Do Not Disturb enabled on the iOS devices?

If it is, turn it off, restart the iOS devices and the Mac, and try again.

If it is not, I still recommend restarting both the iOS devices and the Mac computer. Test again. If the issue remains, and since the iOS devices are all working with each other, I recommend reinstalling the operating system for the Mac. Before this step, I recommend making a backup of your data. This article will help: Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

Then, use this article: How to reinstall macOS

Thanks and have a great day.

Hello pencoke,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help getting your Mac to see your iPhone with AirDrop. Please review everything provided in this help article: Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac

The entire article has tons of great information, but there is a "Tips" section near the middle that states among other things:

Your Mac needs to be a 2012 or newer model with OS X Yosemite or later.

It sounds like your Mac has previously worked with AirDrop but your iOS devices have changed or been replaced and no longer or never were able to connect via AirDrop to your Mac. Try following the steps from this article.

Use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Keep in mind.

If you can’t see the other device in AirDrop

If you can't see the person or the device that you're trying to AirDrop to, check the following:

  • Check that both of you have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. If either of you have Personal Hotspot on, turn it off.
  • Make sure that the person you're sending to is nearby. You can't AirDrop to users who are out of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range.
  • If the other person’s AirDrop receiving setting is set to Contacts Only, and you’re not in their Contacts, have them set their AirDrop receiving setting to Everyone.

Thanks and have a great day.

all your suggested document was review weeks before, still unable to connect, so i posted my issue here:

my IOS device is mac pro (2015) with latest version, iPhone 6S with latest version, iPad with latest version. Alll were connected before without any issue.

besides, i could connect with other IOS device with airdrop, but not my own devices, so it was not wifi or bluetooth issue. I already went through the setting of personal or iCloud or family, still unable to find why my own device could not be discovered in air drop. please advise any setting related to air drop, thanks.

it is not related to mac pro only.. my iPad could not be seen by iPhone too and vice verse. it seems that only my iOS device having these issue ( under same apple ID). each device ( iPhone / iPad / mac pro) could communicate with other iOS device for air drop. so... i am asking any setting for apple ID.. the key point was i upgraded all my device in one single night, and there were some questions asking me after upgrade, especially mac pro ( multiple account)... but i am not sure any impact. so could anyone have such experience on this.thanks
