the problem started immediately i updated to ios 11.1.1

Hi, I believe your iPhone 6 suffers from whats known as the "Touch Disease". It effects the first generation 6 and 6 plus's. Basically the phone frame was too weak, and over time it got bent back and forth, putting pressure on the logic board, and unfortunately causing the Touch IC to separate from its contacts.
I believe Apple will fix/replace it for a fee.

Why does it always happen when i update the phone all the time?
why should we pay extra for their problems?
if you repaired the screen yourself or used an non official repair place apple will not touch your phone I believe
If any third party worked on the phone, Apple will refuse to touch it.
