I was wondering if I had an Apple TV 4k whether I needed to buy a movie in order to watch it in ultra high definition(4k) quality or if rentals have the same 4k quality as the movies purchased. Has anyone actually tried this on the new Apple TV(4k)?

I do have a 4k compatible TV that supports HDR. All I am wondering is whether the same movies available in 4k for buying are also available for renting(in 4k) because some sites only have 4k quality only to purchase not to rent. Notice the example I have attached from VUDU where Atomic Blonde is only available for purchase not rent in 4k(UHD). Would this be the case in iTunes? Is all the 4k content available to own also available to rent?

Can I rent movies in 4k(ultra high definition) quality or just buy them? (like other services offer)
