Search filter on iOS YouTube app no longer work

Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, scroll to the YouTube application and tap "Offload App". Once the application has been removed, reinstall it again and test.

No these steps do not address the filter search issue. First of all this looks like some generic set of steps given by someone who hasn’t really even tried to reproduce the problem. Nevertheless I tried these steps and it still doesn’t work.

If the Youtube app launches without issue, any other app feature would be the responsibility of the developer to support.

You were given a set of basic iOS steps meant to isolate the issue. It seems to prove iOS is unrelated to your problem.

I had this problem as well. After selecting the search filters you wish to use click the X at the Top left next to the Search Result drop down box to complete the updated search. Hope this helps!

Thanks! Clicking the X was non-intuitive - usually means to cancel out and close, and NOT to complete a request. Thanks again!
