Mac won't accept correct password
For some reason my MacBook Pro is not accepting my password to log in to my account. I typed in my password multiple times and double checked every keystroke every time. When it didn't work I logged into the Guest account and went to the Apple ID website. I logged into the Apple ID website with my password with no problem. So I went back and tried logging again on my user account and it didn't work. Then, I logged back into Guest, logged into the Apple ID website, and reset my password. Even the new password does not work. I cannot restart or power down my Mac because it keeps telling me that "other users are logged in" and that I must put in their username and password to log them out before I can shut my Mac down. Am I just supposed to unplug my Mac, wait for hours until it finally dies, and hope my password works when I turn it back on?
