Will ipad 5th gen run Garageband 2.3

Hi everyone

I'm looking to get back into making tunes on Garageband but I have an old ipad now which can't keep up with the latest version. Would the ipad 5th generation be suitable to run Garageband with all the latest features in 2.3? As far as I can tell it will but just looking for confirmation.
