How do you fix the error "The operation could not be completed"

Whenever I use the app Movies Anywhere and I try to watch downloaded movies with (wifi or without) after a couple days some of them start to say "the operation could not be completed". Eventually all of them read this message which is super annoying. The only movies I can watch are those I downloaded to Apple TV. I know this is an apple issue because this happened to my previous mini iPad that I no longer had, and movies were even more of an issue.

I’m having this same exact issue. I’d love to know what the deal is. I have an iPhone X running iOS 11.2.

Hi

You can only watch some paid for movies on any apple device you have if they are rented you can only watch on the device it was downloaded on.

You have just 48 hours to watch a rental movie from when you start playing.

Go to i books download ios 11 user guide &ipad user guide both are free.

Thank you for replying! None of my movies are rented, I have payed for them all. I have 10 gigabytes left out of 32 so I know that can't be the problem. I have tried refreshing the app, restarting my iPad mini, and deleting the app and signing back in, nothing works.
