You can't buy anything from Canada unless you are actually in Canada and have a credit card registered to a Canadian address. Apple does not ship overseas. This includes both items such as iPhones and music or films from the iTunes Store.

My phone wasn't shipped my uncle bought it for me in Canada when I went there and I had to buy a Ugandan line since am in Uganda
If your uncle met the required needs then he was entitled to buy it (and give it to you). However, you should be aware that any warranty srvice must be carried out in Canada.
