Without your password they shouldn’t be able to access any of your account’s details - and a card’s full details aren’t stored anyway. Was the phone protected by a passcode, and did you have any passwords stored on it e.g. in emails, notes, Safari ?
I did go into my Apple ID account and deleted the device because it was still signed in, and I also changed my Apple ID password and added 2 step authorization. Should this prevent someone from using my Apple ID even if they have my old phone?

You should be ok. Reputable stores should also wipe a device (or contact the person who traded it in) before selling it on
My email, Facebook and everything was still on the phone and had automatic logins. I don’t know what I was thinking when I didn’t take the phone and delete things myself. I have however changed my Apple ID password as well as my Facebook, Email, and online banking passwords just to be safe. Do you think this should cover me?
I traded in my iPhone 5s with Bell and I didn’t question if the phone was wiped clean or not. The guy did something on the phone and said he reset it but I’m nervous someone could get my credit card # and personal info through my Apple ID.
