iphone x wifi connected but not working.

Yeah, every now and then my iPhone X wifi will stop working, despite still being connected to the modem. I need to turn wifi off and on and it works again.

Hopefully this is resolved in a firmware update.

M having same problem in iPhone X. The WiFi gets connected but no internet service. Tried every option of resetting network settings, restarting , restarting my modem, but no way out. Still same. Plsss help

I too am having this problem with my iPhone X, it stays connected to WiFi but will not download anything, I have to turn WiFi off and back on then it works. Apple please respond, is there a problem with my phone or is it software? I have tried forgetting network and reset phone but still the same. Ps I am sky broadband in uk

I have the same problem: My iphone X will not connect to the internet even though my computer is on the same network and connected to the internet. I tried this solution and it did not fix my problem.

Hi Charis, I've been having a little smiliar with my earlier vintage iPhone and recently upgraded 8+. It seems in my case that my ISP signal is dropping a lot out here in the sticks, and my wifi router is having a hard time reestablishing a connection with the modem after each drop.

My phone shows I am connected (to the router), but there is obviously no signal past the router and out to the internet.

I'd suggest that you double check your router and/or modem is not having problems once your checked and double checked your phone.

settings>general>reset>reset network settings.

Press the "i" in blue circle on the right, the choose to forget that network.

Turn your X off, wait a little bit, then turn it back on.

Try to connect again.

I do not follow what you are suggesting. I already did a reset of my iPhone to no avail.
