Out of curiosity, what is the formula you use in Excel?

Hi Barry,
Normally in Excel there’s a very simple formula for this type of number to text transformation, from the link you gave me it’s look very complicate. To be honest I do not understand those explanatio at all, is there any simpler way?
Numbers does not have this feature at all. Barry provided a solution the uses the features Numbers does have to do what you asked for and you replied that excel has the feature built in. In addition, you specifically asked whether there was a simpler way (implying that Barry had used an unnecessarily complicated way to solve the problem). Barry is well known for excellent solutions and typically does not provide Rube-Goldberg solutions. In the words of Amadeaus to the Emperor saying there "were too many notes"... "I used neither to few nor too many notes". So I say use the tool that does the job you need / want
Hi Wayne
Thank you for a clear answer now I understand that there is no simple function to solve my problem. However, I need to explain that I did not mean to Barry that he was telling me an unnecessary complicated way but I want Berry to understand that my skill is not capable of understanding his solution, that’s all.
I understand you may feel intimidated by the solution.
Go ahead and follow the instructions Barry provided step by step. If you have specific questions about how to do the steps, post the specific question. It may push you and you may learn something.
Try, fail, try again, ask questions, then, finally succeed and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Hi SGIII
Normally in excel I use function BahtText(CELL) but this function will show text in Thai language.
In case I need English language I use function BahtOnly(CELL) this will show text in English language.
but to use English version you’ll need to download this add-on

Got it. Thanks. It's an add-in. Numbers doesn't have add-ins that make available additional formulas. The closest you can get is via a script, launched either from the menu or a keyboard shortcut.

Hi J0hnnie,
Here's a link to my response to a similar question posted close to a year ago.
Regards,
Barry
I provided another solution but I do not think you will think it easier. IT is, however, more flexible.
Give it a try by following the instructions here:
Use Excel since it has the feature you want
So you means there’s no function I need in Numbers?
Thank You again Wayne, I‘ll Try my best if I’m stuck somewhere I might ask few more questions. So those formula should be place on sheet2 am I correct?
