Notes under Contacts are truncated.

The notes under Contacts are always truncated with limited space in the MacBook Pro Contacts - although they show in full in Contacts of the synched iPhone. Solution?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12.6)
