IPhone X hotspot access from control center

On the iPhone 7 I could add a shortcut to turn on personal hotspot in the control center but can’t seem to do this on the iPhone X. Is there any shortcut to turn hotspot on and off?

Yes. Open Control Center on your iPhone. Firmly press that icon in the upper left. You will see there is a "Hotspot" control embedded in there. (I made this black and white so it would fit in the post. Aside from the colors, this comes from my iPhone X.)

Do you mean press and hold between the airplane, cellular, wifi and bluetooth? If so this is the way I use to do it, but it doesn't expand on my new iPhone X. I wonder if its a glitch.
