Is there a way to unlock other Apple devices (i.e.: nearby iMac) with Face ID on iPhone X?

Now that I've moved the majority of my work to an iMac, I no longer have Touch ID and must enter my password rather often. Is there a method by which I can use Face ID on the iPhone X to unlock my iMac or is the best option still using an Apple Watch for this purpose?
