Hello,
there's a bug in Messages app and it doesn't let me get the read receipts. I tried to restart/erase the phone, turn off/turn on the "send read confirmation" but nothing. I can't see if the messages I sent were read or not. Is there a way to fix this?

Go into Settings > Messages and turn ON Send Read Receipts and Show Subject Field. Then go into Send&Receive and make sure only your phone number is checked for can be reached at and start new conversations from. Then restart your phone (regular restart NOT forced restart.) This might help the issue.
If that doesn’t change anything, after restarting toggle iMessage OFF, wait 20 seconds, and then back ON.

Only the recipients can decide if they want you to see if they have read your messages.
It didn’t help. I start to think this is a hardware problem, I don’t know. There are a lot of people with this problem since older iOS version and updating to newer iOS versions didn’t help them. For some persons it may be not such a big problem, but for some, including me, it’s a pretty big and annoying one.
Yes, I know, but the recepients let me see the if they read my message.
