Press and hold app icon feature to temporary display apps for the ability to delete or move to folders aren't happening on the iPhone X.
Anyone know of a solution?
Nothing has changed in terms of moving apps to a folder on iPhone X. Press and hold the app until all apps jiggle, then move the app on top of another app with a little force to create a folder, or hold it on an already created folder with some force to move it into that folder.
Hi JulianPrice. You need to continue holding until the initial (multitasking) response clears. Then the icons will begin to shake as usual. When you drag an icon to the folder icon, place it carefully in the center.

You're pressing too hard if that's what you're seeing. Things changed with 3D touch. Rest your finger lightly on the icon until it starts to wiggle.

Glad it helped. It took me a little while to get used to when I switched from the iPhone 6 to the 7+.
