Unfortunately, this is an indication that your Time Machine backup file has become corrupted.....likely as a result of running the anti-virus or other harmful utilities.
The only "fix" for this is to erase the Time Capsule drive and start over again with a new backup.
After you have erased the Time Capsule drive.....and before you run a new backup......my recommendation would be to remove all of the anti-virus applications and other "cleaning" utilities from your Mac.

Power off the Time Capsule, wait a minute, then power it back up
Restart your iMac
Hold down the option key on the iMac while you click on the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the iMac's screen and click on Verify Backups.
The process will take anywhere from 10-60 minutes or more to complete, depending on how much data is stored on the Time Capsule disk.
Report on your results when you have received a message that the process has completed successfully, or you receive a message that the process cannot be completed.
Hopefully, you have not installed any kind of anti-virus application or anything else on your iMac that claims to "optimize", "clean up", "speed up", etc your iMac. Can you clarify on that?
Things like......http://fixmacissue.com/fix-error-code-112-on-mac.html......are nothing but scams.
Please post in the support forum for the operating system that the iMac is running to learn from the experts why you would not want to install any kind of anti-virus, or utility that claims to improve the performance of your Mac.
I rebooted the Time Capsule and rebooted the iMac.
I started the verify backup process. Received the following error message:
Time Machine couldn't verify backups because verification was interrupted.
No. I have not seen that screen. My iMac is connected directly to the Airport Extreme through an RJ45 network cable.
The AirPort Extreme does not have a built in disk or hard drive. Are you asking about a disk that is connected to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme?
I have a Time Capsule with the Airport Extreme built in.
Thank you. I will give it a try.
I have installed Anti-virus, CleanerPro, and UnArchiver from TrendMicro. Also Malwarebytes.
Thank you very much. I will work on this.
Hi, I have never recived anything when verifying My time capsuls backup!! It say nothing about success or IF something is wrong??? Strange.
