If I make a new Apple ID will my photos and apps be gone?

I had an old Apple ID account and the credit card expired so I can’t change for some reason. So I decided to make a new Apple ID, but the question is «Are my photo’s, messages, or apps will be gone?

You should be able to supply a new valid payment method, or select none unless there is an outstanding balance due. See Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support and If you can't choose None when you edit your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support. Making a new AppleID is not usually the answer.

As I understand it, since App Store purchases are tied to an Apple ID and cannot be transferred, your apps will definitely be lost. If you are storing your pictures with iCloud Photo Library, they may be lost as well. If they are only on your iPhone they may be OK. In any case, I would archive them to a computer:

I believe SMS/MMS messages are tied to your phone number only, so they should be OK as well. I'm not sure about iMessages.
