Macbook Pro 2016 Bootcamp Trackpad Delay while Typing

The trackpad in my Macbook Pro 2016 13" is clearly disabled when users are typing.

For example, when I type something and then click the trackpad, the click will not work. The click will work again only when I wait about 1 second after the type. It seems an intended function/delay but it is very annoying. How to disable it?

Nope, but I have tried an external one (and the external one has no issue).

I also found a similar discussion for the Lenovo laptop

and also here:

It seems caused by a bad driver design (for palm check). However, there is no option in the MAC’s driver (as these solutions marked in the above threads). So no way to fix it…… It is really an annoying problem, making the bootcamp basically useless….(maybe it is intended to suck Win 10 LoL?)

Hi Loner,

Thank you for checking it.

Reproducing the problem is easy. Let's say you open your chrome browser in win10, click the url field and ready to type something, press a key (say, "r", so you will get lots of "rrrrrrr" in the url now), and then quickly use the trackpad to click any button in the chrome UI (say, the "x" button above the page to close it), then nothing will happen.

Once you repeat the same above action, but just wait another 1 second after typing the "rrrrrr", you will know what is the correct behavior to have (the button should be clicked and work)

Let me know if you need any other details. I am like 80% certain it is the identical issue as these on-line posts for Lenovo laptop since the behavior is just exactly the same (need to wait 1 second because the trackpad driver thinks you are still typing and the click is a false trigger......).
