Nuance PDF converter for Mac

I have been using Nuance's PDF Converter for Mac for a few years w/o trouble once I mastered it. However, since upgrading to OS 10.13 their PDF Converter opens up just fine but will not OCR a new document! The following warning has shown up whenever I give it permission to OCR a new document:

Nuance PDF Converter's OCR process is quarantined. Typically, you can run this command in the Terminal application to resolve the problem: sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Nuance PDF Converter.app/Contents/PlugIns/PDFpenOCR.app/Contents/MacOS/PDFpenOCR

I am not competent with Terminal but have attempted to make use of it to no avail, as it became obvious that the command is written for an older version of the OS.

Can someone give me guidance in overcoming this problem?

Sorry about not responding sooner, I've been ill with a heavy chest cold. In Terminal you are always opened up in "HOME" and your applications are not there! You're applications are located one step back on your hard drive. Applications are not in our "HOME" Rather than my trying to teach something I, also, poorly known, go to google and enter "basic terminal commands mac os x" then discover how to switch directories so that you can put yourself into applications and then entered the revision I suggested.

Finally, what I did does not fix the entire problem. 1/4 to 1/3 or the right hand side of the page is not OCR'ed. What the program reads it reads perfectly.

Depending on how your system is set, you may be able to simply copy that second "confusing" set of alphanumerics and hit the paste command once you have Terminal upfront. Hit the "return" button and see what happens. If nothing happens, or if it gives you some message please post it. As I've already said, I'm not really competent but I am curious and I hope that those who are truly competent will step in and correct us.

Also, I have been disappointed in what the results of this correction. Please do attempt to make take the step and get your Nuance PDF Converter to working, then let Nuance know about the results. They still must make some corrections.
