everytime i screenshot a grey screen comes up on the thumbnail and when i go into photos a white box photo is shown. how do i fix this

Try a reboot press the power button & menu button hold both down until you see apple logo.Cheers
If you have a iPhone 7 press power button down &the side down volume button Hold both down until you see apple logo.
