I can only open an app in App Store

I can only open the default "Weather" app by tapping "Open" in the App Store. I accidentally deleted its icon from Home page.

How do I restore its icon to the Home page.

Thanks.

If you see "Open", then your Weather app should already be on your iPhone.

Where is its icon?

It could have been moved into a folder (if you have some, check among them), or in another page.

Can you please carefully check and let me know the result of your search?

Regards

Giulio

Hi ProustGiulio,

Thanks for your response.

>> Please read section "Restore a built-in app that you removed" in the following support guide:

Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 10 device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

I read the instructions, but I'm not able to follow step 3:

1. On your iOS device, go to the App Store.

2. Search for the app. Make sure that you use the exact name of the app. Find the correct name of built-in apps.

3. Tap ? to restore the app. [? = the cloud symbol with down arrow]

I can find the app, but I don't see the ? symbol in the app details (where it says "Open"). Where is the symbol?

Thanks.
