Long press stops suddenly

Hi,

I have a problem with my iPhone X, iOS 11.1.2. The long press on the screen stops suddenly but the finger is still pressed on the screen.

For example, when I record an audio in iMessage, I click on the microphone icon. After about 10 seconds the recording stops but I have not stopped pressing. Another example in the homescreen, I swipe to turn the page but I stay in the middle of the two pages without stopping pressing, again after about 10 seconds it moves to the second page but I keep pressing.

I have tried with a complete restoration of the device and the problem is solved but when I start to install applications the problem comes back.

You may think that some application in the background may interfere with iOS, ok, but disabling the application refresh in background the problem persists.

Please help. This is making me crazy.

I found the source of the problem!

It's about the tempered glass that I have on the screen. Searching for Google I found thisthread with the same problem as me.

The tempered glass interferes with the screen and makes it less sensitive

There are two possible solutions:

The obvious solution is to remove the tempered glass.
Move your finger slightly while you are pressing.

It is a problem with long press not with 3D touch. I know how 3D touch works.

But 3D touch is also affected by the problem. After a few seconds of maintaining a touch of 3D touch, the press action is suddenly deactivated without raising the finger.

I have updated to iOS 11.2 and the problem persists.
