I'm making a slideshow on my Mac Photos program. I need to play it at a birthday party and the venue wants me to bring the slideshow on a thumb drive to play on their PC. If I save my slideshow to a thumb drive will it play on a PC?

The answer of course depends on what software they have installed on the PC - you can export it from the current version of Photos as a movie (.MOV) - can they play that? Try making a very short slideshow and emailing it to them and see if they can play it

Does another family member or a friend or neighbor have a PC? Can you get access to a PC in your local library?
Then test your slideshow there.
Use a thumb drive to store your slideshow, that has a file system format, that a PC can read. Usually a new thumbs drive will be correctly formatted to be used with a Windows system.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to email it ahead. I've called several times to get as much info as possible. All I know is they have a PC--not a mac and they want it on a thumb drive. They say I can't hook up my mac to their system. I already see problems as many of my photos are scanned and are pdf's and those wouldn't play at all on my husband's PC...the blind leading the blind. This is going to be a disaster...
