Logic 7 Chord Analyser to Score?

Has anyone into using the Logic Score editor managed to use L7's Chord Analyser to quickly add chord symbols to an arrangement? I have only just begun experimenting with this: ie playing in a dedicated keyboard midi part with just single chords played so that they correspond to the arrangement.

I was wondering if there was some way you could then transfer the nice clear read out on the Global Component Chord readout.. directly into the score?

If I may be so bold as to answer my own question 🙂

Yes it does seem to be possible to do this - I have this very evening discovered an option in Functions on the Score Page:

" Insert Chords from Global Chord Track"

Just to recap - I played in a keyboard part with straight jazz chords and quantised them so that the chords are clearly 'readable' by the analyser. By selecting discrete bits of the region, the chord analyser in Global Components does a pretty accurate job of naming quite complex chords.

Using "insert chords from Global Chord Track", I suddenly found the score pasted with blue coloured chords. I have yet to find out how to change the colour of these chords or edit them.

Wish I knew how to include a screenshot into the Forum post here as some more adept contributors are able to do.

Would love to hear from anyone else working on Scoring or interested in this

🙂
