I have a 13" rMBP (Early 2015) running macOS High Sierra and a bootcamp partition running Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. My magic trackpad 2 works perfectly in macOS, but will not pair/connect in Win 10. I have to connect it via USB to get it to work. Any ideas?

This might help someone. OK this is how I fixed my problem in Windows 10 Boot Camp on MacBook Pro 2016. Apple Magic Mouse recognized, paired but kept disconnecting almost immediately if it connected at all. The problem was related to the Power Management under Bluetooth Radio, Properties in Device Manager. I had to uncheck 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. This has worked for me I'm relieved to say 🙂
Do you have Bootcamp drivers installed? Is the Trackpad paired to the Windows side?
Bootcamp drivers are installed. Bluetooth keyboard works fine. Trackpad won't pair or connect.
As a test, un-pair the trackpad from all devices, and try to pair it with Windows first and test. If it works properly, pair it on the macOS side next.
I've tried that as well. Reinstalled Apple Broadcom Bluetooth driver. Still no success.
Is BT/WiFi collaboration enabled?
Changed it from "auto" to "enabled." Still nothing. All of my other BT devices work fine.
Under BC5.x drivers, there was a TrackPad Pro installer. Can you check if Programs and Features has that driver?
I have Boot Camp Services 6.0.6100 installed. No mention of TrackPad Pro.
Tried to extract the drivers through Brigadier. Still no Trackpad Pro driver. Downloaded the most recent drivers through BCA, still no luck.
Can you get Brigadier to download the specific 6.0.6237 bundle?
How do I get Brigadier to force a download of 6.0.6237? The version downloaded is 6.0.6136.
I will check and see which models used that specific release. It may take me a couple of days.
I finally got the trackpad working. I ended up uninstalling the Apple/Broadcom BT driver, then reinstalling Boot Camp Services 6.0.6136 and it paired/connected the trackpad. Thanks for the help!
