iPhone X Battery Percentage Stuck

I had the same issue but now its fixed. all i did was:

1.) restore the software of the iphone X using itunes while on recovery mode

2.) Set up as new Iphone

3.) fully charged the phone while turned off

4.) after the phone was full charged I started to discharge the battery until it turns off..

for some reason mine has been fixed and i dont specifically know which step made the magic work..

What i did is let my phone die and recharge it

before this Ive try 3,4 times to reset and hard reset my phone, but it not working, and then i try it o change to cooler area, now ots work

When battery percentage starts showing strange readings especially on a new device, one trick is to discharge the device fully prior to recharging - basically use until the devices closes itself down.

Not sure if it will work in your issue but if the battery charge reporting has gone haywire it just might resolve.

What worked for my 8 was to charge it without going on it. Since the back is glass it overheats so it’s best to charge it at night while you’re asleep. When I do it this way it charges to 100 while when I’m on it while it’s charging it only goes up to 80%

If your device stopped charging at 80 percent

Bro, please factory reset your phone when the phone starts from “hello” page.

I was having the same problem even during when the AC was on, my battery percentage was stuck all the time. So I just managed to factory reset my phone after backing up all of my data on iCloud. After the factory reset procedure was completed, the battery percentage started increasing.

Erasing all the data then using the backup didn’t work I did that already. What works is if I’m charging it & it’s at 80% but doesn’t change all you have to do is reset it. Once you turn it on it’ll be at 92%, but the percentage doesn’t change unless you turn your phone off which is bothering me. And the iPhone 8 and X get really hot which is annoying and is most likely the reason this is happening.

Yess... its caz of heating thing.. mine is working ok when i charge it in cool place..

Guys d solution i found is.. try to charge ur fone in a cooler atmosphere.. its caz of d heating of battery its not charging.. try dis n let me know..

you can try find the coolest area bro, charging you phone at coolest area, it happen to my iphone 8 too before this, stuck 85-90 percent while charging..
