Attachments as icons in Apple mail

I just want to share how to overcome the annoying problem that pdfs and jpgs are displayed as previews always in apple mail (high sierra). You can start the terminal and give the command:

defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool YES

All attachments coming up now as icons. You can re-enable it using

defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing -bool NO

I don't like the preview of attachments in emails, it takes away overview and you can't see the filename. Apple should leave the setting to the user on a better accessible point in the AppleMail settings.

I found this here:

OS X: Turning Off Inline Mail Attachments – The Mac Observer

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)
