My 11.2 ios update DID NOT come with the new Apple Pay features! Is anyone experiencing this issue on the Iphone X? How can I fix this?

Despite the wording of the release notes for iOS 11.2, Apple Pay Cash is still not currently available outside of the beta software program.
Apple Support currently advises that the feature will begin rolling out in the US early next week.
