Videos not importing from Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS25 Camera

Hi!

Since I updated to High Sierra, videos no longer are recognized by Photos as items to import. They are recorded as .mp4 FYI, not in the HD Lite format that people had problems with in the past. The camera is a Lumix DMC-ZS25, by Panasonic. Everything worked fine up until Thanksgiving. I can import videos from my other camera, a cheaper Canon camera.

When I import all items from the Lumix, it only imports photos, but not any videos. If I go to choose what it imports from the SD card, it does not show that any videos exist on the camera. I can watch the videos on the camera, and they also will import from the card into iMovie, if I open iMovie and select Import (from the card), but they will not show in Photos. It's as if Photos does not recognize that there are any videos on the card.

This is my best camera, and it really is causing issues with my video production. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

-Max
