Apple Watch (1st gen) stainless steel recycle - gift card available?

Apple Watch (1st gen) stainless steel w/Milanese loop band - want to recycle, is an Apple store gift card available? This watch model and band was not listed.

Apple currently offers a trade-in service for Apple Watch in the US.

Follow the links here for more information and to get an estimate of the trade-in value, based on your Apple model and its condition:

For Apple Watch (1st generation), be sure to choose the non-Sport model when trading in a stainless steel watch.

The only choices shown on the Apple Watch recycle/trade-in program (Apple gift card) for the original release of Apple Watch are "Sport" and "1st generation", no distinction between Aluminum or Stainless Steel as is done for Series 2 where the trade-in value is higher for the SS model. My question remains unanswered.

There are two Apple Watch (1st generation) model types shown:

Apple Watch Sport (1st Generation) - this is the aluminium watch.
Apple Watch (1st Generation) - this is the stainless steel watch.
