AppStore displays no purchases

I tried to download a previously purchased app and it says no purchases when I go to the purchases page and when I search it it says I need to pay for it again... I’m on The latest IOS 11 and in an iPhone 6

I understand from your post that when trying to redownload a previously purchased app none of your purchases show up and you are prompted to purchase the app again. Are you using the same Apple ID in the iTunes and App Store that you used to originally purchase the app? If not, your purchases will not appear. In order for your purchases to appear you will need to sign out of the iTunes and App Store and then sign back in with the Apple ID used to purchase the app. Settings > iTunes and App Stores > tap Apple ID > Sign Out

If you are using the same Apple ID, you can also check your purchase history using iTunes on a computer.This article will provide you with the steps on how to view your purchase history from a computer using iTunes: See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Let us know if you are able to see your purchases through iTunes or not and if you are using the same Apple ID. We can then provide you with additional assistance if necessary.

Hi Justin,

There's a possibility that the old email address is still logged in somewhere. Make sure that you updated your Apple ID in all the places listed in this article: What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support

If the issue persists after updating your Apple ID in all the areas listed, you may need to contact Apple Support for additional assistance: Apple - Support - Product Selection

It is the same Apple ID. I just did that after I changed my email. That’s all I did. I changed to a more recent email as the one I had before was for a couple years ago. I just went into Apple ID settings and updated my email. After a while it showed my purchases and now it’s not showing them again. It does not show up on iTunes. Thanks for the help
