Are phone cases that only cover the edges protective?
Will my iPhone 7 crack or break if I drop it from waist-height or head height? I'm concerned because I bought a used iPhone 7 on eBay and it came with this edge only case, which looks nice. They're less protective, but if you drop your phone chances are it will land on a corner so they are good for that.
But if you're worried about scratches on the back or front you should get a full case and a screen protector.
The kind of 'case' you have is called a bumper.
This case is okay but I would suggest the other box cases the defender sereis is the best it would have the most protection on your new phone.
