Mac running very slow since upgrade to macOS 10.13.1

Any ideas why my iMac has started to run extremely slow since I upgraded to macOS 10.13.1 this past weekend? It will also shut down or restart by itself without warning. Up to now it has been very responsive and more than fast enough for my purposes, including using processor-intensive tasks such as FCP. I downloaded and ran EtreCheck and copied it's report below for reference. Help!
