Recording Telephone conference with voice memo

Hello,
I would like to know how to use voice memo to record phone conferences. I know I need iTalk or something like that. I know I need some sort of device to connect the phone to the iTalk. Does anyone know what I should use? Radio shack has one but it is cheap and doesnt work well.Im planning to buy a 5th generation iPod to do this.
Thanks

there is no easy way of doing what you want i think. unless you want to hold your ipod with ththe italk up to your phone reciever as you talk and listen at the same time. I was gonna say why not look into sometihng liek this at radio shack they might have a good cheap alternative that what you are thinking with the ipod.I have not seen any device to attach to your ipod that will record from a telephone line. maybe becasue the idea of covert survelience hasnt been thought of for the ipod yet.

I'd use the built-in mic and a seperate speakerphone that won't be used during the call. Put them in a seperate room - the ipod right next to the speakerphone - and pile a quilt on top of them to block out the room echo.

Experiments that I've done with direct connections into audio gear required me to go through a "Direct Box" or "DI" before running into my audio gear (a professional mixer). I don't know the input impedence for the micromemo or italk so I don't know if some sort of impedence matching would be required.
