Is anyone else having this problem since the High Sierra update?
Thumbnails of design files like EPS & AI are displaying inverted (like a mirror image, not just upside down)
Doesn't seem to affect jpegs and pngs as far as I can tell...
I know it doesn't sound important (the files open as they should) but when you are always searching through archives to find something, it makes it so much harder to find!
Work arounds? Anyone?

Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and check the thumbnails there. Any improvement? Reboot normally and check again.
If still reversed after you've cleaned up you system thru Etrecheck boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and reinstall the system.

There are some problems however nothing I can see that would cause your problem. The problems I see is first you have some orphan files installed, use the EtreCheck report to remove those. The other problem is your computer is starved for RAM. I would recommend upgrading to 16GB which is extremely simple and relatively inexpensive. If you decide to upgrade the RAM only purchase from either Crucial or OWC (www.macsales.com). The reason to recommend these vendors is iMacs are sensitive to using quality RAM and both vendors provide this at reasonable prices and provide good service.
I will look into this. You never can have too much RAM...But still, it's odd that it has never had this problem before (unless the High Sierra is sapping more RAM than previously) but only since the update.

That's fine, however there is no personal information posted in EtreCheck reports. I'd recommend that you run one, examine it yourself and then you can see for yourself.
Can you please mention what instructions to follow?
I am going to try this, just as soon as clients stop hassling me to work for them. So pesky of them ; )
