Error with 401 with itunes/apple music

Every time I try to play a song or download, it says I need authorization and just keeps skipping to the next song.

I had the same problem, but I managed to fix it in the following way:

1º Go to iTunes

2º Click "Account" in the menu bar

3º Click "Authorisations"

4º Click "Authorise This Computer"

5º Then enter your Apple ID

6º Finally click "Authorise"

I hope it have helped you.

Thanks, this really helped!

I was looking for answers on the Dutch site, but didn't find the answer.

I tried everything, logging iCloud in and out, download the newest version of macOS and iTunes.

When I tried to (re)authorize my Mac it finally worked and I had all of my playlists back.

I've a lot of playlists so I was afraid to lose them, thanks to your answer I still have them!

Thanks again!
